Tim Rand
Tim Rand’s gymnastics experience runs the gambit from competitor to USA National Team Coach. His popular lectures make him a favorite attraction for many regional and national symposiums. Tim and wife Tony (La Fleur) Rand are former owners of American Twisters Gymnastics in Florida. His 20 plus year coaching background includes recreational, “Mom and Me” classes, compulsory, Levels 8-10 and Elite, as well as staff training and has coached nine USA National Team Members.
Tim was born and raised in Mamaroneck, New York and was a former high school and college competitor. He attended Duke University and the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Child Psychology. Tim’s activities also include: Florida state board member since 1988, Regional board member since 1993, Elite Regional Chairman 1993-95 and J.O. Regional Chairman.
