Jeff Robinson

Most recently Jeff Robinson was the men’s Junior Olympic Program coordinator for USAG. He was responsible for the overall management and supervision of the technical aspects of the Men’s Junior Olympic Program. His responsibilities at USAG was to overseeing the technical aspects of the development and implementation of the Age Group Competition Program and the Junior National Team Program (the Junior Elite, Junior National and Junior Development Teams), as well as assist in developing a USA Gymnastics education initiative for men’s gymnastics.

Robinson has more than 20 years of coaching experience in gymnastics, as a highly-regarded safety-certified gymnastic coach and judge, and one of the most popular national presenters, Jeff Robinson is a wealth of knowledge about the sport of gymnastics. He has been coaching world-class gymnasts since 1980, serving as the Head Coach and Program Director for several gyms, and the Personal Developmental Coach for several Junior and Senior USA National Team Members and NCAA (collegiate) athletes. He has been a member of USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Age Group Competition Committee, which he chaired from 2000-04. For many years, he ran the largest boys gymnastics programs in Florida. He has served as the Head Coach for the Barbados International Gymnastics Delegation, for the 1995 World Championships in Sabae, Japan, the 1996 IEF World Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. He was the personal coach of World Championship athlete and Olympian F. Shane Defreitas. He is also the author of "How to Start a Boy's Program," published by USA Gymnastics.

Robinson has a master’s degree in Education and is currently the stunt manager at Epic Theater, as well as stunt player and principal performer in the Disney MGM Studio Theme Park’s “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” at Walt Disney World.
