Daniela Nanova

Daniela Nanova, former Bulgarian Artistic and Rhythmic gymnast, and National Choreographer for British Gymnastics, is a popular clinician in the UK. She has choreographed many artistic, sports acrobatics and rhythmic routines. DANIELA has vast experience of working across all disciplines in the following areas: Body Preparation and Posture improvement, Flexibility training, Ballet and Choreography, Floor and Beam routine construction and Dance and Movement skills.
Graduated school in Bulgaria with Degree Qualification, 1973
Entered University of study sport and Physical culture, diploma with distinction, 1973-78
Artistic Gymnast, then Rhythmic – 5 times National Champion
National Junior & Senior Bulgarian Squad 1968-1977
Awarded Master of Sport 1975
Captain of National Senior Group Team 1973-1977
Selected for World Rhythmic Championship Madrid 1975
Silver medalist in European Group Championships, 1977
Honorary Gold Medal for Services to Gymnastics 1984/5
Awarded Master coach sports Acrobatics 1986

National Coach/Choreographer for Women’s Artistic and Sports Acrobatics at CSKA Sofia 1978-1989
British Gymnastics’ National Choreographer for Rhythmic Squads, 1998-2002
British Gymnastic as National Choreographer for all disciplines in partnership with Newcastle Gymnastics Academy, 2002-Present

3 generations of Gold Medalists at World and European level in Bulgaria 1983-1990
Created Routines for Silvia Mitova – World Championships
Created routines for numerous Sports Acro World Medalists in Great Britain including Neil Griffiths and Emily Crocker, Martin Smith and Mark Flores and Top Trio Group
Obtained Professional qualification as an International Coach 1999
Created routines for Rebecca Owen – Silver Medalist on Floor in Commonwealth Games 2002
Assisted with preparation for Men’s Team for Commonwealth Games Gold Medal, 2002
